Do you only photograph weddings?
No, I am available to perform any number of photographic services to suit
your needs.
How much do you charge?
I DO NOT charge for a wedding preview, unless you live outside Auckland CBD.
I charge a flat hourly rate. Within the Auckland region this is from the
time I arrive at your venue. A full list of my printing costs is available
on my ORDER FORM page of the Hopes Photography website. There isn't anything we
can't negotiate...
Do you provide quotes?
Absolutely. I write down your requirements in my work book when we
discuss your job and I follow this up with a written quote.
Do you have a studio?
No, I don't. The only work I do at home is the finishing of your images, any
computer work, and all the printing.
When do I need to pay you?
Your quote will set out the terms of the contract and the amount of
deposit required to confirm the appointment to work for you. Usually 50% of the
quote is required prior to the work being undertaken. The balance is required on
presentation of my finished work.
Our family is on a budget. Can we pay you off?
Yes you can. We can discuss this arrangement and incorporate this into the
written quote, and modify the contract to suit your budget needs.
Apart from finished photographs, do you put your work
onto a disc for the client?
Yes, however the work is still copyright protected. You would be able to
view these images but these will be in a read only format and would not be
printable.
How long do you take to finish the photographs and get
them to the client?
Most images require some finishing work on my computer even if this only
involves cropping. Depending on the number of images and the work involved I can
usually deliver your completed images in around 7 days.
Why do you do your own printing?
To ensure my work and your images are printed on the highest quality papers,
and completed in the best finish possible, just as my work is a reflection of
you, your images are a reflection of me.
What are the other printing services you offer?
I am able to design and print all of your wedding invitations to your
personal requirements. Let me know you're ideas for any other printing services,
and I can provide you with a no-obligation quote.
Because I work on your project from start to finish, I can
probably get it to you in super-quick time. If you're not satisfied with the
work I've done, you don't pay for it. Ever!
